URGENT! How to adjust ride height on coilovers>>???

Please help! I'm trying to adjust my coilover height but don't understand the manual. I have BC racing coils Type BR.

I hope this picture will help what I am trying to ask. Which rings do I move to adjust height and what do each ring do? Thanks

Also forgot to mention its not like other coiloversd i installed as shown in oicture above the coils I installed have a piece that connects the brake lines in the middle. So do I just bring the ring 2 up and down>?

Yep you just move ring two then twist the bottom of coilover to actually adjust the height. "Ring two" is basically a locking ring once you set your height where you want it.

Thanks for the tip but I'm still kind of confused. Heres a better picture to show what I am talkinga bout/

On the second picture shows the rings I am talking about. When I loosen the ring on the bottom it doesn't move the coilover at all. It just loosens it up and down.

From my research the top two rings are for ring are for spring load? I also notice in the manual it says not to move these springs. My friend actually moved them down a bit.

i wouldnt touch the springs...you would undo the bottom ring for the shock body and obviously it needs to be unbolted from the car and youll screw the bottom shock body up or down to where you desire and then lock ring back into place

Haha yeah I've spent all week adjusting my BC's height since i just received them two weeks ago...this may be a dumb question but you have the bottom bolt holding the coilover in place out right? because the ring won't actually adjust the height. If you have the coilover off the car and the ring is loose you shoul;d be able to spin the bottom of the coilover, which effectively raises or lowers the height. Don't touch the top two rings as they are for the spring.

Haha my bad I didn't even read your post but yeah OP like chatt350gt said make sure you unbolt it.

Btw I noticed that when adjusting my BC's the heights where I want it but the thread adjustments are way off. For example my left rear is maybe 1cm away from bottomed out but my rear right is half way down the thread column yet the rear of my car is level. Is that normal? Similar situation with my front coilovers. All four corners or the car are the same height however +-2mm...anybody else notice this? Could it cause a problem later on?

ohhh i feel so dumb. I just wanna make sure this is right though. SO in order to lower the car the bottom bolt has to be removed and the coilover has to be free from the car. The actual ring wont adjust height. The bottom of the coilover will spin adjusting height?

FYI you do not need to un-bolt the coilovers at all. All you do is loosen ring 2 and then you can grap a hold of the coilover with your hands and just turn it, the whole thing will spin including the spring. Just make sure to have both sides of the car up (left and right) so that the car is not fighting your adjustment with the sway bar.
