Question how can you tell if your coupe has sport suspension?

Hi all
I've tried searching for this but couldn't come up with anything close. How can we tell if our coupe has sport suspension or not? I've tried to decode my VIN# but didn't give much information about suspension. The previous owner i bought the car from said it's a sport coupe and the g does has oem side skirts, even the manual says sport coupe but these can be bought from ebay. Is there any other place from the engine or some place inside the car where it can tell us it has sport suspension? I'm thinking about removing the wheels and look at the suspensions myself. Thanks

Actually even the sport suspension springs are black.
But either way Infiniti didn't offer sport suspension for the 04s.

Not sure if you're buying oem shocks/struts, but u can save a lot of money by purchasing aftermarket struts as opposed to the over priced oem parts.
Such as Tokico HPs.

Thanks, I saw a set of Tokico blue on ebay for $350 and tempting to buy them. My thing is should I upgrade the springs as well, I just want to do them all at once.

Does the sport suspension automatically come with the sport package? My car came with the sport package but my shocks were black.

Coupes have black shocks with sport (and with non-sport too, I think).

My car is an 05 sport and it has black shocks. I replaced them with GR-2s though...

AuAltima is right with regards to the coupe, but sedan I don't know.

You can def get the HPs cheaper from our vendors.
Springs usually only need to be replaced if they've taken a real beating on crappy roads for 80k+ miles.
oem springs are very durable.
If you want to pep up the handing slightly I'd say go with 350Z Tein S-tech springs.
350Z because it matches the oem sport spring rate more closely than the G35 Teins.
It will lower the car around F-.5" R-.7"
