Megan Street Series Coilover

Didnt really see anyone post pics or anything too much about these coilovers but i got them in 2 weeks ago and got around to installing last week. A more reasonable option for those not wanting to spend 1200+ on a set.

Ride has been good, this is my first coilover set up so not much to compare it to with other brands. but so far so good and install went ok for first time too. need to get my fenders done and spacers so i can get flush tho and most likely camber kit.

With the stock 19"...i was scrapping on the driveway and bumps/dips in the road. Put my 20" on and solved most the problems except for a few times and on turns like going up the driveway.

Now for the pics....

Coilovers...

Before...

After...

Comments or feedback is appreciated!!

im satisfied with them so far....it hasnt been 2 weeks yet but so far so good. it can go lower but with the roads over here and coming up my driveway i wouldnt do it on the 19". with my 20" i could probably drop it a little bit more and it would be good. Going to get the fenders rolled in the near future so see if i want to lower it more or just get spacers. might just drop the back a little bit cuz the front look low enough to me. you should be happy with them tho!!

this is a non true right? If so I have the MDU coils and I want to know how should I go about adjusting the fronts bc I too am new to the coil scene. I know how to adjust the rear height and shock to get a comfortable ride, but with the fronts I am kinda confused on how to adjust height.. What i have been doing for the front height is just adjusting the shock body to extend it to make it longer to raise the car =\

To be honest I don't know what's the difference...what makes one a true coilover? But ur correct about adjusting the fronts. Are you trying to raise ride height? Theirs also a FAQ on the Megan page as well on how to adjust that helped me.

A non true coil setup is using the spring bucket. A true coilover setup doesnt use the spring bucket in the rear. From the pictures I notice that you are probably using the spring bucket. I understand how to adjust height from the rear by using the spring bucket and adjusting the rings and then adjusting the shock body to the height of the drop for a smooth ride. As for the front, what I am unsure about is how to adjust height.. because the spring is also on the shock making it a strut. Is there a way to compress the spring? if so what does that do?

oh ok...yea it uses the factory spots for the rear. yea you just shorten the length of the strut. check out the megan website
