Bad Brake Pads?

Hey G-folks before I buy new brake pads I wanted to make sure that is the problem I am having. My right rear brake has been screeching every time I slow down. I opened the caliper to take a look and found that one of the pads is worn at an angle. Im guessing that is not normal. Does that have something to do with the piston not working properly or just a bad brake pad install? Any ideas? I am planning on purchasing new pads from R1concepts. Any suggestions on a pad?

Sounds like it was not installed flat to the piston.
The pads were quite difficult to line up in the caliper.

I am using the Car Quest pads.
They work just fine and are affordable.

The squeel is probably the chatter clip making contact with the rotor to warn you.

You might have a frozen caliper or piston. That could explain the wear.

What he said

Common for the pistons and/or guide pins to seize. Def inspect and grease the pins befor eputting new pads in or you'll have the same issue

Alright will do! Thanks for the help. I am thinking of getting the posi quiet pads or stop tech. Would you consider either of those good pads?
