All around brake recommendations

Well it's come time to do my brakes on my 2005 infiniti g35x Non-brembo.

Need new rotors/pads and 1 of my caliper's may be seized ( what mechanic told me he noticed after my last oil change at dealership ) . Any recommendations or reviews/links on the products the vendors offer?

Car is on 17's so any big brake kits would be out of the question seeing as I will be running on winters/shitty rims all winter. Looking for something affordable in the non big brake kit area that is not junk. Low dust pad's and rotors that rust slower than others of possible will also be a plus

Only reason I don't want to go oem is all I have read is bad things on fast wear etc.

Looking for friendly helpful advice

Do not need caliper's as mine are in great shape, thanks tho.

So my dealership wants 138$ a rotor, but the rotors online are 65$ a rotor. Am I better off just ordering all 4 rotors and pads online? Then getting them to install? I wanna stick with getting the dealership to install tho. They also want 62$ each for the hardware kits. Anywhere I can find these hardware kits online?

Also noob question I do not need to replace backing plates do I? Seen them online. Mine look fine.

Dealerships won't usually install parts the customer brings in. There is nothing special about our brakes. Any mechanic should be able to install them. Find a good one in your area and save a lot of money. You do not need to replace backing plates unless you go with larger than stock rotors.

+1, agree! The dealer wanted $250 to resurface rotors and new pads for my rear set. went online bought new OEM rotors (nothing fancy) and hawk ceramic pads for $140, and then had them installed by a local mechanic for $80. If you have the time and space, you can probably swap them out yourself. lotsa youtube videos DIY.

btw, i would not do hawk ceramic pads again, the pads have squealed just about as long as i've had them. stop great though.
