ok well here is the update:
I changed the inner control arms bushings and the rod bushings as well. I can feel now the steering-wheel is firm when I drive but at 70 speed in the fwy my car shakes really bad and it was due to a bad mechanic job when he installed the stock springs. My car had lowering springs then i changed them to the stock ones but the mechanic put vicescript on the shocks and it made them leacking and that what damaged them. Anyways, i changed the shocks and got them installed at infiniti specialist and now the car drives smooth without shaking.
Note: u have to do alignment after u change the bushings or the shocks.
Prices:
inner control arms bushings around $60
rod bushings nearly $55
If u want to get ur bushings installed professionally, it will cost u around $360 from infiniti specialist and $170 if u want to install the front shocks (struts)
alignment around $60
i bought new front shocks and each one cost me around $100

its going to cost me about 200 for the rod + 1 hour for the install , no point of buying just the bushing and then the noise persists , this sucks cause with my luck all need to change the other side in a couple of months

My boot was leaking grease from the ball joint and the entire spindle with the ball joint and the compression rod had to be replaced (under warranty). It was a fairly expensive part, but now for the first time in 8 years of ownership, i do not have any creaking noises coming from the front end while going over speed bumps. I believe it could have been a $400+ job if out of pocket. I have 6 months left on my extended warranty and will try to get them to replace the other side along with the CD player which must be on it's last legs.

Thumbs up

It's probably the ball joints, that's what happened to mine and I replaced also the bushing and the controll arms.

Front Lower Control Arm Kit SET of 4 for Nissan 350Z G35 2dr Coupe RWD

So they are selling a complete OEM kit for the front lower arms on Ebay for a pretty decent price... I know this thread is a bit dated but just hoping to reach out. It seems a little too good to be true at 299.99 but given I have multiple bushings out would anyone note any concerns about the replacement parts shown on this site:
1A Auto via Ebay:

Part Number: 1ASFK01620

Many thanks,

Seems too good to be true and they are not OEM. I would say buyer beware but this could turn out to be the find of the century if they are solid parts.

Hrmmm.... Well I am thinking about rolling the dice on this one. Dorman product with 1 yr manufacturer warranty. A few years back i bought a set of dorman uppers for my spec-v and given they are warrantied I will give it a shot....

Now that said if the metal on metal contact hasn't warn away my OEM arms too bad then I'll keep em and upgrade bushings....

now this one seems waaaay to good to be true:

Even comes with the kitchen sink! jk

Wow that kit looks good with a great price !

that would be the way to go if anyone could confirm the quality of those parts. They claim to have bought up a lot of OEM parts but don't claim those are OEM parts either. It also says G35's may need some additional shims which concerns me.

Yeah the "shim" is in reference to the conical shaped bushing that rests on the ball joint for the lower arm. Think it's 8$ for both at the dealer. The Dorman arm kit has them included... so yeah. Bought the Dorman replacements, going aftermarket with the rest of the components soon enough. Dice has been rolled

Now that it's about a half a year later.. how did these non-oem parts work out?

Generally speaking, no news is good news - but I'd like a follow up if that's at all possible.

And, the main reason being - I'm looking at buying pretty much the same set

Like Gilley said before - if these turn out to be ok - man - WHAT a good deal!

So far i can't see anything out of the ordinary with the control arms and compression rod bushings. Structural integrity appears sound, and they look to at least meet or exceed OEM spec. Weight feels identical but i didn't actually put them on a scale. Its been about 7k since the install and nothing has moved, squeaked, or failed. The little alignment nipple on the compression rod will rust if you don't paint it just FYI. The shock mount bushings on a visual inspection look a little saggy under load so IMO i would recommend a poly bushing for that point. I took my time with the install and made sure to pre-load the suspension. No alignment required. If i would have any recommendations it would be to let everything soak in PB Blaster over night before hand and have a breaker bar ready.

With this kit i plan on doing the Energy Suspension bushing install on the OEM parts I removed , powder coat them, and then sell the non-OEM. For a temporary fix and stock ride feel i would say well worth the money.

Well then - that is great news indeed!

About the "Shim / Seats" that are said to be not included... they are just the conical black bits that sit atop the ball joint bolt (for LCA) and the ball joint end on the Compression Rod(s) correct?

I'm guessing we can just use our existing ones? Or are they heavy wear items and should instead be bought new from the dealer?

Yep that is correct. Actually remembering back now the Dorman kit said they were included, but was missing one and 1A auto refunded me some dollars. You can use the existing ones but you will need a puller to remove them. for around 8.00 apiece from Nissan i just bought new ones. Another thing i should mention is that if you can identify any broken seals on your ball joints plan on having those replaced as well (If you are lowered get roll center adjusters). Ball joints I have now are non OEM due to the fact Nissan says you have to replace the whole knuckle...but if you look around you can find them (had Zsport automotive in Everett,WA do the install).

if you have the dollars do the endlinks and check your front sway bar bushings too...the only reason i say that is because after the fact I wasn't sure if the new kit was making noise or what until i poked and prodded. After new endlinks and bushings no noise whatsoever.

What's sort of nutty is - I paid $287 for the LCA's and Compression rods (alone still a great deal).. But I could have kicked up another $113 and gotten ALL OF THIS:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-350z-...item257b8635f3

DOH!!!

I have half a mind to ask to fill out the order for the whole kit somehow if they'd be willing.

Mind you the ball joints are OEM replacement spec.. Speaking of that - which ball joints to you use / suggest for lowered applications (I'm on simple Tien Basic's myself). I took an online look at the "Moonface" ones, but honestly, $600+ for two ball joints is extremely unfriendly pricing :/
