Well i have had these in all season and meant to a review but I have been busy with a new job and I completely rebuilt my 3.8L and got it running again.
Anyway I had the dreaded front end clunk one of my best friends owns Lightspeed Innovations a tuning shop here in Alberta turns out he is major Whiteline distributor. So we got on the phone with Whiteline AUS and asked if they had started making "compression rod bushings" they had no idea WTF we were talking about. So i finally got them a picture of a "compression rod" they refer to them as "radius rods" so after that we were on the same page . They do sell them individually no need to buy an entire bushing kit like some other manufactures.
They ended up sending me a set of HARD and SOFT bushings. I used the SOFT ones, I want 700whp and a stock like ride
. I would say the soft are only slightly firmer than the OEM. The ride quality is still excellent no harsh vibrations like some people fear with aftermarket bushings
However my suspension is fairly modded already also have Bilstein coil-overs and 350EVO sway bars with SPL adjustable end links and SCP camber arms all around with 19x10.5" wheels and 275/30 tires on the front. I cant say I really noticed a huge difference in handling but the my OEM ones were not in all that bad of condition compared to others I have seen.
I took a few crappy camera pictures along the way just because I know we all like to see pictures in these threads
As with any of my mods I forget the camera and I am in a hurry to get them done.

OEM vs Whiteline compression rod bushing

Whiteline compression rod bushing in

Part number for the SOFT ones i guess i should have taken pictures or got the # for the HARD ones
pictures were an after thought. this will help though the hardest part of the whole thing was getting Whiteline on the same page as to which bushings we were talking about. As far as I know G35/350Z owners are the only ones that call them Compression rods most will call them radius rods.

Back on the road clunk free

I hope this helps other knowing there is an option besides OEM or an entire bushing kit
Huge thanks to Whiteline for offering these as a set
If anyone wants the HARD set cam@lightspeedinnovations.com had the ONE set of hard in stock that I didnt take but i am sure he can get more easily as he is a Whiteline warehouse distributor

I replaced mine as well last year and since I was at it I replaced the shock absorber one and the one on the other side of the compression arm. I'd be lying if I said my car handles better but at least the metal to metal noise is gone and seeing the state of my old bushing this replacement gives me a piece of mind. Interesting that you had a choice in durometer for it, I only had one choice and I'm not sure if it is hard or soft.
Just checked my photo album and noticed that your part numbers are completely different then mine.

I had a few PMs from people saying they are having a hard time finding these even from Whiteline dealers
The guy in the link got mine for me try him if all else fails he is a warehouse for Whiteline but i would think the dealers should be able to get the same stuff??

Great write up Sylvan, just ordered these from the Nissan Race Shop at Fontana Nissan here in SoCal, my inner LCA's and Comp Rod bushings are absolute toast from being low and daily driving. I'm so glad you put this thread up or I wouldn't have even looked for these and just gone with the Energy Suspension ones.
This eliminates the clunking in the front, but I'm on Stance coils and still have clunking in the rear. I replaced the sway endlinks, any ideas on what else it could be?

Hey guys, side question. which kit contains all of the bushings that is needed to swap all out? Would this one contain all? My ride is **** quality now and realized this could be one of the culprits, worn bushings.

After looking into it some more, it's a front end kit with the rear diff bushings. Doesn't contain any of the rear suspension bushings. Wish they had a kit for the rear too.
If you go to conceptzperformance.com you can buy all the bushings separately. The ones you really want (aka NEED for the G) include:
Compression rod bushings
Lower control arm bushings (inside and outside)
Rear spring bucket bushings
Those are the MUSTS for this car. Other ones that aren't necessary, but are noticeable are: front upper control arm bushings and the differential bushing. The differential bushing drastically changes ride characteristics tho, so you really gotta want that "track car on the street" feel.
