Sway bars......REALLY??

Ok gents let's be real. I am a daily driver so this is the question. Do sway bars really make the difference? I am a mod junkie when the money is there but I am curious to know if this is a good investment for me. What is your honest opinion and experiences. Also if I do go the sway bar route is it worth to do both front and back?

Let me know...

Without a doubt you will experience a night/day difference with sway bars alone. Def do front and back and I would also get rear end-links from whiteline. If you want to save money on the sway bars with practically zero loss in performance, get the progress technology sways.

Sways are arguably the most effective suspension mod, better results than springs/struts/coils, etc.

Like others have said sways is by far the best bang for the buck suspension mod, and possibly one of the most noticeable mods under $1k.

Whiteline is pretty expensive. Would getting the beefier 06 OEM endlinks be good enough with aftemarket sway bars?

Best $300 I have EVER spent on ANY car mod.

Made a night and day difference. With my D-specs, Hotchkis sways, and 1" drop, that thing is so much fun to drive now.

If I remember correctly we have a vender on here that sells a few different variety of sway bars for cheaper than elsewhere for our cars so you should have a look around here first if you're planning on making that purchase.

I'm using Hotchkis front and rear sways.

https://www.upscaleautomotive.com/p-...and-sedan.aspx

Downside to getting sways... are that you might have to get new endlinks in the future because our stock ones are known to snap because they have a hard time handling that much stress and pressure that they can possibly recieve from the sways if you set the settings hard enough.

I'm still using my stock endlinks, but the settings that I have my sways at are pretty low. 2nd hole from the bottom for the fronts and last hole on the rear. Had the sways in for around a year I suppose.

Had mine on for three years now with the original links and I run the Raging Bull Texas Stampede every year. I have had no problems other than one of the back ones has to be tightened about once a year. I keep mine set full hard in the front and middle hole in the back.

I didn't feel THAT much of a difference between the Hotchkiss and my OEM 06 Sport Sways. Then again, I have both bars set to one below the stiffest setting. Maybe I should go full stiff.
