Coilovers Ripped Boot

Would this be a major problem or I can still run my rear Coilovers with ripped rubber boots? It's the piece that goes under the spring on the shock. Its purpose is to cover the coilover from accumulating gunk on the inside.

I think off road shop have boots that can be installed without removing the shock? I am sure I have seen them before

I run mine with ripped boots for about 2 years now no issues.
