Stripped Screw

I've stripped the screws on the upper housing using a torque wrench, is the housing replaceable? or should i replace the entire struts?

You can pick up a kit to remove stripped bolts or nuts, Craftsman makes a great kit for stripped bolts that can be purchased at Sears.

With that, you can remove the stripped bolt, and you can take that bolt to OSH, Lowes, Home Depot, or any other hardware store to find a replacement.

Stripped screws are a bit different, a bit more complicated as those usually need to be drilled out. But there are ways to get those out as well.

there are reverse drill bits for the screws that can get the screws out for you in a jiffy.

no need, if the screw isnt torqued down hard then just cut a notch into it and use a flat head screwdriver
