Hi guys,

I have kind of an odd question to ask you all. My buddy just purchased a 2008 G37s Coupe and I jokingly said "I'll pay you to swap brakes" thinking of it as more of a joke. However, he is actually into the idea of doing this. I know the g37 akebono's can be put on the g35 with the right brackets. My question is can my 07 g35 coupe brakes be put onto his g37? I would imagine anything can be done if you really want to, but I was wondering what the difficulty is (if any) in doing so. Are there specific brackets that need to be purchased to do so? Am I SOL on doing this because no one has ever tried (or wanted to try) to put G35 brakes on a G37? Any input would be very helpful.

Also, I know someone is going to say "why would he want to do that?" or something of the sort. Well, he likes cars and everything, but he is not like a car fanatic and into mods and what not, like most people on the forums. So in his mind, as long as the brakes he would be getting work and work well he doesn't have a problem with swapping + receiving cash.
