installed rear SCP camber arms now toe is WAY off !

I put in H&R springs and put in the SPC camber arms at the same time. Now if I adjust the camber arms enough to stand the rear tires upright then the wheels / tires are pointed way in towards the front.

I have the toe bolts to put in then head for alignment but I'm concerned the toe bolts don't look like they will provide this much adjustment

ykies. I would install them and at least see what that gets you. All you have to lose is going back to oem, right?

Much like shooting for the moon, minor adjustments can make big differences over distance.

Mine were like that before the alignment. Install the toe bolts, adjust the wheels so they visually look better, and then drive carefully to an alignment shop. They come back into spec easily. Took my guy a few turns of a wrench to get it good.

good deal I was sweating this out as I turned the camber arms in to straighten the tires up and realized how much the tires were pointed in. I just never saw anywhere where others were discussing camber arms adding toe like that when adjusting camber. I assumed my luck something was wrong since I didn't think the small holes enlarged for the toe bolts could help enough to fix that much toe in.

As long as you enlarge the holes you will be perfectly fine

You probably should take your car to a shop where they can throw it on an alignment computer and get everything spec'd up....or atleast tell you how far off you are.

^This. The SPC toe bolts were made to give a wider range of adjustment, just gotta make the holes bigger to allow for it.

great thanks guys I just didn't expect the toe to even move while adjusting the camber so I thought someting was wrong and then was afraid just adding bolts and slightly enlarging the holes would be enough to fix that much toe.

going to enlarge the holes and install the bolts today then off for alignment and new tires tomorrow.

has anybody ever enlarged the holes more towards the center than the outter edges of the lower control arm mount to allow more adjustability to pull the front of the tires (toe out).

you know what I mean by moving the cutting template inward or should I just do like its supposed to be done and it will be fine ?

Just do what the spc template shows you to cut....youll get into specs with it

On our cars correcting negative camber inversely affects Toe, which is why you have so much negative Toe, its normal. As others have said get the SPC Toe Bolts and you should be good, for your purposes you only have to cut out on the inside of the template (towards the center of the car).

Let me know if I can help with anything

because my spring lowered the car enough that by adding more camber to straighten the tires upright it made the tires toe in like crazy therefore I needed more toe out adjustibality to make them straight.

OK so I got my toe bolts in the aluminum shavings are itchy ! ha ha I did it on my back with the car backed up on ramps. Now I took the car to get aligned and the guy was still unable to get the toe in spec it was like .5 he said it would be better at .15. I saw him turn the camber bolt to the lowest setting which was pretty close to where I had it from the install.

so is .5 toe acceptable or will that chew up my tires ? anyway way I can make these adjust more toe out with the dremel and different bolts / washers ????

Factory spec on rear toe is 0.00*-0.22* so if you're at a 0.5* you're way out of spec, the 0.15 would be fine as long as you're talking total toe, not just one side. Your mechanic will need to adjust the camber arms and toe bolts to get it in spec, but that shouldn't be an issue. If it is, you need to go somewhere else for your alignment. I'm dropped 3" on a sedan with the Stillen RCAs and SPC toe bolts and I'm in spec on all 4 corners on camber and toe. My rear toe is 0.16* ATM and could go all the way to 0 if I wanted it to.
