AMS motorsports swaybar endlinks
AMS motorsports swaybar endlinks
Posted on my350z. Posting here again to help g35 people.
Due to my car being very low, the stock endlinks were pretty much useless. Front end was making insane creaking noise when braking. LCA bushings were replaced but the noise was still there. So i purchased AMS motorsports endlinks to see if these can get rid of the noise. (very fast shipping by the way) www amsmotorsports com. These are the best endlinks out there for its price. (on discount now) Adjustable in length, well made, and very beefy. Stock endlinks are like chopsticks comparing to AMS endlinks.
Another good thing about AMS endlinks is that the endlinks come with boots built in(?) to themselves. .
Enough said, here are some pictures i took.

above picture is the passenger side. I had to remove the cone spacer due to my car being too low. If i don't remove it, the bolt head on the endlink would hit the bottom side of the stance coilover. I confirmed with Vuk@AMS that it is OK to remove the cone spacer to prevent the bolt head from hitting it.
THis is how low my car is.

When you look at the front endlink installed pictures, you probably noticed that the boot on the endlink is installed on the LCA. However, i reinstalled so that that boot is installed on the sway bar.
The nuts on the endlinks are torqued to factory spec.
I have been driving around with these installed for about a month. Steering feels lighter, and no issues. Creaking noise when braking is gone, now. woohoo~ Highly recommend these pieces

What sway bars are you running? How did you adjust the end links for pre-load? Why did you choose the middle hole on the sway bar over the others?
I'm looking to purchase these end-links and completely agree with you on your analysis of them... Are you getting any clunking noise on full steering lock?

I had crazy clunking noise before installing these. After installing these, the noise was reduced significantly. My car is semi slammed so i can't expect the noise to go away completely.
