I finally installed mine 2 weekends ago. My issue previously was the lack of a strong impact. I used a 19v impact the second time and no issues. Finished in 4 hours with breaks and grinding the front edge. Maybe it's placebo but she feels tighter going into turns. I've got every brace except the ladder and lower rear tie braces. I had the ladder on last year but it was scrapping everywhere. That was an awesome piece and the car has felt looser ever since it's been off. The fender braces seem to have tightened things up again. I am only street driving but it feels good nonetheless.

So you had to grind the front edge? Did it seem like roughly the same amount?

I had the same problem with the ladder, and the same positives about it, but it just wasn't worth the scrapping, unfortunately.

Bummer to hear. Other than a rear sway, this was #2 on my list. On a prevoius car I had an X-brace (which virtually didn't hang down at all) and it made a huge difference at the track. Guess I'll settle for some tie bars

Got some track time in on Sunday with the fender braces in. Def tighter turn-in response and helped keep understeer more under control.

I ended up having to trim the top forward section of the brace. Since it was putting stress on the inside of the fender.

I finally got around to installing my fender brace last week too. Mixed reviews, but first let me preface:
- Thanks to PR-G35Driver and Tony from OC Infiniti for coordinating this GB and helping the product even exist
- Thanks to sexyrob for assisting with the development/installation and Boog for installation help

The bad:
- The instructions are in Chinese... really? Having the usual/minimal black & white one pager would show some consideration to your customers. Mind you, GT Spec's tie bars came with no instructions. Aside that I'm a novice mechanic (oil & brakes), if it wasn't for this thread, the install could have been a mess.
- The part doesn't fit. Like others have posted, I also had to shave off the top corner of brace to fit under the 1/4 panel. My brace didn't fit flush either because on the grey frame of my car ('07 Coupe) there were some ridges, so I had to insert a washer between the brace (top corner) and frame, which meant I had to shave off even more of my brace than most to get it to fit under the 1/4 panel.
- I was missing a part - one of the special recessed washer for that special self tapping/crush screw thing we had to impact in. Unfortunately with my car on blocks on a Sunday and GT Spec and the dealer I purchased from not even in my country, I had to improvise with another washer - and luckily it worked. And only after my 2nd try... thankfully GT Spec included and extra one of those crush/screw things (and labelled it "spare" too, so people don't go nuts after the install thinking they forgot something)
- Lastly, a little bummed they weigh ~12.5 lbs. The car is a little portly already and especially in the front end. However, since it's required for torsional strength I'll let it slide.

The good:
- $200 is good value for this. Their tie bars are $100 for a small, straight piece of aluminum. Better performance/value than tie bars or strut bars.
- Great that it improves handling with no harsh ride effects

Performance review:
Unfortunately I can't really give a good performance review (even thou I might be on the track this weekend) because after 2hrs of dissembling my front end to install this brace, I also decide to throw on a front sway bar and tie bar. However, I did take a trip with just the braces and front sway installed (no tie) and noticed the following (I've independently installed sways and frame braces on other cars before, so I can reasonably discern the difference each can provide):
- The car did feel "stiffer" but the ride did not
- I wouldn't say the front end was "lighter" (as I think others have mentioned) but turn-in effort seemed noticeably decreased. Even changing lanes was easier and crisper.
- Plowing thru some 90 degree 2nd gear turn was exactly that - plowing. That's mostly because of the front sway, so I couldn't put the brace thru it's paces, but it was more controlled both in and out.

With everything installed now (braces, F&R sways and F&R tie bars) the car feels like a rock - with minimal difference in ride quality (sways are 15% stiffer front and 125% rear). Although the rear sway is definitely the best bang for the handling buck, I'd put the braces as #2. For daily drivers or show guys, this part isn't for you, but for guys that track or giv'er quite a bit and can appreciate handling it's a good bolt-on mod.

Even thou the product was a little "unrefined" and the install was a bit of a bitch (for me), the more I drive the car, the more I like the mod(s). Wish I could have given you guys a before & after on the track with just the brace installed, but there's just too many screws and clips in that front end to want to do it again.

Wordy review, hope it helps and I have some pics if anyone needs some more detail.
