Hello, I have an 04 coupe and this problem started a few months ago and im not sure what is wrong. My brakes only squeek when im in reverse pulling out of the garage or a parking stall (i hate it). The dealer said i still have good life in both rear and front pads and when i ask them why its doing this they never give me a straight answer or try to solve it. The closest help i got was another dealer cleaning off the rotors, this stopped the problem for a few days but then it continued again. I am confused.

 

Mine does that too. Everything checks out ok.

 

Yea, its strange. Just really annoying when backing up and its super loud.

 

It's fine don't worry too much about it. Mine does the same every morning as well but it goes away as soon as I start driving.

 

Mine only does it in the cold morning until the pads or rotors warm up.

x2 on the cold. I noticed my brakes only squeak when its cold and sometimes when its raining or really humid.

 

try Akebono Pro-Act ceramics. should cure your squeals.

 

ill def. look into those but until then ill just assume its weather related. thanks everyone!
