lowest drop for 03 sedan on 20s

I have an 03 g sedan with 20inch staggered wheels and I'm wanting to drop the fenders over the tire. I don't want coilovers because I have a child and don't want a really rough right. I know I'm gonna have to roll and flare the fenders but do you thing 1.25" lowering spring for a 350z would sit it where I want it since its actually a 2.5" drop for a sedan

The ride quality on those springs will be crappier then coilovers FYI

True but I'm not really trying to spend that kind of money.. if I could find a good used set for let's say around $500 I'd do coils but I'm not trying to put a grand in coilovers
