Brakes or something else...?

Hey guys, I recently put some autozone brakes (I know, I know) on my front tires. I just needed them on temporarily while I upgrade my brakes system this summer. The fronts were squeaking pretty bad and the sound was annoying and it definitely couldn't wait. So I bought some autozones and had them put on...everything seemed fine a day or two after, but now they squeak still. Not sure if it's the brakes themselves, how he put them on, or maybe the bearings? I'm not sure, but I thought I eliminated the initial problem by replacing the brakes. My backs are fine. I haven't been back to the shop yet, figured I'd ask you guys first. Any ideas?

It's worth trying some copper grease on the back of the pads. Autozone and Advance auto usually sell little packets of the stuff near the registers.

No, I don't think they were resurfaced when they were put on.

Also, I was thinking about greasing them to see if that helped, will look into that. Thanks for the answers.

you might want to resurface them and bed them in properly. you can google bed in process brakes if you don't know what it is. once you bed them in properly, they usually don't squeak AS much
