Clinking noise as I break at slow speeds and going over speed bumps

Hey all, I am fairly new to this, I was told that I needed new front lower control arms. As I go slow speeds and stop right before a speed bump, I hear a clinking noise. Would that be the control arms doing that? Does anyone else have this problem? Please help.

Could be... clinking or creeking could also be associated with the CV axle joints. at least this has been my experience
