I have searched around and I still haven't come up with what my next brake pads will be. Since it's an '05 X it still has brakes that don't last very long. I'm not doing the rotors because they're still in great shape. I've heard about Hawks but I really just want longer lasting pads, even if it means sacrificing some of the bite. I don't want them to squeak either. Any input is much appreciated.

 

I don't have an X but I do have the same year in the coupe. I just replaced stock pads with Project Mu Type NS last fall and not only are they super quiet but super smooth with little to no brake dust. Very very happy with them. And looking at how they have wore over the past 9 months or so tells me they will last at least another year and half or two years.
