Rear brake caliper is sticking ......what are my options.

Hi there.

Was at my local nissan sealership for an oil change and they mentioned that my rear brake calipers arent releasing all the way. technician has written that the calipers are sticking.

I asked them that what my options are and they said that I will need to replace the calipers.

I asked them if I could service the brakes to see if that would fix the caliper but they said no.

What do you guys think; has some one else had their calipers fail on them and if so what measures did you take to fix them.
Im looking at online parts and it seems that its about $169 per side for rear calipers.

I was planning on saving that money for rotors and pads but the damn caliper failed on me.

Any advise is welcome.
thanks in advance.

What exactly is sticking? If its the piston youll have to rebuild or replace, if its the pin just lube them that should solve your problem

i will ask the nissan dealership again but according to them its something that they are recommending i replace.

Maybe i'll get the m to take a closer look at the brakes again to see which part is the problem.

Thanks again.
