Tokico HP for G35 Coupe what about upper mounts?

Hey Drivers,

I feel like my current shocks are getting tired on my coupe.
I have a 06 G35 Sport Package coupe and feel like I am getting too much body roll.

I was thinking of getting the Tokico HP shocks. Will I need a compatible mount,
or can I buy the stock mounts from the dealer?

Thanks.

You should be ok.

I was going to replace mine when I went to KYBs (please, don't comment bash on these - my car is barely a daily). Rock auto sent the wrong upper mounts.

My advice: replace them with new OEM while you are in there.

I think most of us just reuse the stock mounts. I think the mounts should last the lifetime of the car. Aftermarket sways will make a much bigger difference in body roll.

Yup mounts were reused.
I replaced my oem sport suspension shocks at 67k miles with Tokico HPs.

Results...? It is 30% stiffer like everyone mentioned. OEM rides better for sure.
