Rubbing the fender liner in front
Rubbing the fender liner in front
So I've got a pretty funky stance because my rear sits somewhat flush but my front doesn't. So, putting spacers up front solves it, but then I start rubbing the fender liner hardcore.
I know some solutions could just be to raise the car a bit (Tanabe Pro5), and less desirable, get thinner tires, but first I would like to ask if I can do anything with the fender liner. I suppose removing it makes sense, but on a G that is driven daily, is the constant rocks/debris/dust going to cause a problem if I remove it?
THANK

There are a few solutions to the problem of rubbing just the liner. One being to remove it. Some people run without fender liners and don't have any issues, it just doesn't look as refined. It shouldn't really affect the driveability of the car at all though, and if you can find a way to make it work with the liner that would be best. Probably the best solution I've seen is to just cut where it rubs to allow for more space. That way you can still keep most the liner intact.
