Thump noise when making sharp lefts

I have a 2005 G35 AT with about 140k miles.

It is making this weird thump (like metal piece hitting another metal piece) noise approximately 25% of the time when I'm making a left turn or u-turns. Doesn't make any noise when I'm making a right turn only when going left. It seems to want to make the noise more if I am taking a sharper turn like trying to catch the light.

The noise appears to be coming from the drivers side. I said it was driver front, my friend says he thinks that it is driver rear. I'm not really sure whose right at this moment.

Before taking it to the dealer to inspect, I wanted to see if it is something I could figure out and fix on my own possibly saving some money in the meantime.

I have put the driver side of the car on jack stands and tried to wiggle the wheels and there is no movement. I took the OEM Suspension off the car and put in aftermarket BC Racing coil overs and didn't notice anything that was out of place or cracked.

The car is a salvaged vehicle that's been in a front end collision before I bought it.

I'm thinking about replacing brakes and rotors some time next week so if anyone has any advice on what to look for and replace while I'm already under there to fix this weird noise issue I'm getting I'd be truly thankful.

Thank you for your time
