Recommendation on how to run 350z suspension on sedan

I posted this in the sticky but I'll also post here to try to get a quicker answer.

I have a 05 sport sedan and I'll be picking up a full 2004 350z suspension (unrevised) tomorrow with about 60k on them.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I learned from reading various threads.
-Running only 350z spring on a sedan will lower the car an inch but the rear will look saggier than the front. That's why some prefer the G/Z combo.
-Stock 350z shocks are a bit shorter than g35 shocks (I'm not sure whether shocks play a difference in height)
-Do not run revised 350z springs on sport tuned sedan shocks because the shocks cannot dampen the stiffness of the spring correctly. (Kinda why I decided to pick up this set.)

So my question is this:
Can I run 350z springs and shocks for the front and only change the rear springs to 350z? I'm hoping the longer length of the rear shocks with the rear 350z springs will even the height a little bit.

Or should I just change the whole suspension to 350z?
Or just run the springs?

Get 350z revised, forget the unrevised then you will have the rear sitting lower which will give you reverse rake.

The 350z Revised is the same height as G/Z

I ran Revised 350z for 43k miles still going strong until I got rear ended lol

I have a pair of rear revised springs if you decide to go revised

The rear shocks will have zero effect on ride height.

Haha I've been through that thread back and forth many times and just couldn't find an exact answer.

I would get the revised version if I could find it locally and if it comes with struts and springs. I'm picking these full unrevised set for 60 so I gotta work with what I have haha.

Do they come with revised struts too?

Thanks for confirmation.

In the sedan compilation page, someone replied saying that putting on the full 350z suspension will lower the car 1.4' instead of 1' all around. If this is the case then Brandon's post is voided Lol just kidding. Can anyone else confirm this?
Would stability/comfortability be messed up if i ran my sport struts with 350z springs in the rear and 350z struts and springs in the front? Would this reduce the bumpy/bounciness everyone is talking about with the unrevised rear 350z shocks?

If you are running unrevised 350z springs, you can use unrevised 350z struts/shocks or G sedan sport strut/shocks and even mix and match front to rear. I believe I have read that the sedan sport struts/shocks are more comfortable than the 350z struts/shocks, even though they are designed for the same spring rates. I also think that the bounciness issue is with revised rear 350z springs without stiffer shocks to go with them. I had revised 350z springs with D-specs and had no bounciness issues.

Even if you completely remove the rear shocks, it won't change the ride height. Shocks don't support the vehicle, they just dampen the motions. You can easily compress a shock by hand, if you press slowly. If you press quickly, the shock will resist more.

Great answer. Exactly what I was looking for.

im running g/z combo on my 05 sedan w/ sport susp. from all my research my understanding is that you wanna keep spring rates as close to stock as possible if you plan on keeping your sport shocks. if you do this your shocks will live longer.i believe the revised zs are the same spring rate as stock sport (up front at least).

Before I decided to get bc coils I was going to get the H&R Springs... Gave the best and most even drop IMO.

^just wanted to share that just in case you go a different route.

Yep, I believe the revised 350z springs are the same rate as the sport coupe F/R. However, the sport sedan rears have a lower spring rate than the revised 350z springs.

Haha I came from the Honda scene. I've had two integras and 1 ek swap, all were pretty much slammed; but those days are over and now I'm looking for something sporty yet comfy. That's why I picked up the 05 sport sedan. My plan is to run the 350z springs for now until my shocks/struts blow then upgrade to tokico Ds with possibly some Tanabe GF210.
I'm looking for a drop with about a 1 or 2 finger gap between the tires and fender so I don't have to worry too much about hitting dips haha. How did you like the H&R springs? From the pictures I've seen of them, they look like a clean drop.
