Thoughts on D2 BBK

Reliability?
Quality?

Just can't seem to find much about them.

Their website for reference http://www.d2racing.com/content/products/big_brake_kits

Forget about their prices. I know stoptech and other kits go for about the same if not less. I am specifically looking at what anyone knows about these.

Thanks

There so tempting. Sounds to good to be true with his price, but I feel the same as you, I haven't heard any reviews on them at all. But the kit goes for more then 5 k

I've been in contact with the seller. Very legit person. I'm just wary of unknown BBK makers which is why I'm wondering if anyone has feedback on this company and their brake kits

From what I've seen and heard reliability and quality are fair. Haven't seen or heard too much negative press about them, although I'm sure there are other kits out there that perform better.

Are you getting these just for looks or do you need them for track use?

Car never sees track use, but who knows what the future may bring. I'm in the market for a BBK and was thinking of going either OEM Brembo or Akebono. Happened to come across these and now I'm scratching my head.

They are good looking that's for sure. I just don't think I would take a gamble on something like brakes. They're only kinda important to my safety haha.

I would buy them. Only issue with most 8/6 setups is you have to run atleast a 19" wheels so no 18s for track use. One of the reasons why I got my 6/4, rotora
