I have a 2006 G35 Coupe. I'm hearing a rattling sound in the front driver side whenever I drive; it only stops when I hit the brakes.


I have no clue where the sound is coming from. Had anyone experience this before? Any ideas? Thanks

 

That sounds like my car! I did some research, and it will most likely be your tie rod.

But first, check to make sure all of your bushings are still in working condition(not torn) as well as your endlinks. If all of that is fine, it's most likely your tie rod.

 

i know, but i was thinking it's the lower ball joint. there's a picture below.

 

Yea it looks fvcked up! Replace that first. If that doesn't fix it then move on to the next one.

 

The problem was my wheel bearing btw.
