Hotchkis Sway Bar Slightly Off...

Hey folks... does anyone else have this problem? After my sway bars were installed, the front driver's side's bushing seems to be slightly off. Two of the techs that were there during the installed mentioned that they have seen this before and it's semi-normal. Can anyone take a look at the picture and let me know what you guys think? Thanks.

My collars don't sit perfectly against the bushings either but the bar is centered for the most part so I have smaller gaps in between. I'm assuming the passenger side collar is touching the bushing?

Yah the passenger one sits properly, just not the driver side. The only thing I wonder is if it actually affects performance. If not I probably won't need to worry about it?

Best bet would be contact Hotchkis and see what they say. I didn't have any issue with mine so not sure what to say but I'd want one that fits and functions correctly and would probably ask the manufacturer what the deal is.

Per Hotchkis, this is supposedly normal.

Just looked at mine today, I only have about an 1/8th of an inch gap on both sides in between the collars and bushings.

I have the same gap on my drivers side only. Causing some clunking noises. Running TS-PRO sways tho. To the OP, are you getting any noises from the driver side?

No noises for me fortunately. That clunking noise might actually be your end links. Have you checked those?

yup I took the drivers side end link off noise went away, replaced with new power grid noise is still there but not as bad. Maybe I didnt tighten it hard enough? Its not easy with the hex key in the middle.

Possibly. How about your bushings? When was the last time you re-greased them?

Everything was installed like 8 months ago new. Im gonna try retightening that link again. I am pretty positive the gap we are experiencing does not impact performance
