Unhappy Front Suspension Squeaking Noise

So I had my compression rods and control arms replaced on the front, for both sides. I was originally getting a loud metal on metal noise, sort of a squeaking noise. I google'd it, and found that the compression rod bushings go bad fast. So I went to the purchasing dealer and they replaced the whole arms under the warranty I had purchased.

Now the noise was gone for a day. Then the following day, it came back. It isn't as loud, but they couldn't find where the noise was coming from. Does anyone have any idea where I can look for a solution to this. I really don't want to go to the Infiniti dealer and pay $130 for them to look at it. That's the last resort.

I drive a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan, RWD.

it's important to have all the bushings and fittings properly greased. Although I can't imagine a dealer wouldn't do that. Oh wait, yes I can..

Thank you for the quick reply .

Oh, I haven't gone to the Infiniti Dealer yet. I got this done at Triple Crown Auto Sales, I purchased the vehicle from there. They said they couldn't do anything else on it now, since they don't know where it is coming from.

If I need to grease them, would I just apply grease directly on the bushings and would the parts that have the bushings in them need to be taken out?

the ideal thing would be to pull uninstall the part, grease, then reinstall. Otherwise you're just greasing the outside of the bushings and not the face where you get the rubbing contact.

why would you have to pay another $130? Isn't their work gauranteed for a 30 day period or something like that?

There work is guaranteed for 30 days but they've kept the car twice for a week each. I don't want to say without her for that long again lol, but I'll try that then.

Thank you for your help!

Definitely a lubrication issue described with the squeaking sound. Lube her up and enjoy

It turns out that when I sprayed some WD-40 on the strut mounts they ended up making the squeaking noise reduce significantly. Now there is another noise I'm hear, it's a more deeper noise. It turns out the culprit in this case happened to be two small rubber stoppers attached to the hood. They were tearing, so I am just going to purchase those from the dealer and put them in.

If you dislike squeaks as much as I do buy Silicone Spray like AMSOIL's, every time you change oil give your bushings a shot. Areas like sway bar bushings if they're in good shape will stay quiet between changes. It never hurts while changing oil to tighten a few nuts/bolts on your suspension, amazing what you'll find lose....Gary

Do you think that Liquid Wrench Silicone Spray would work the same?

It says it does the same stuff, from what I read. I'd rather pick it up locally instead of ordering and waiting for it lol.

that's a pretty stupid thing to say for a couple reasons. but main thing is I work at a dealer as a senior tech. were the most qualified out of everyone when your side shops cant figure it out I do. most suspension bushing like control arms should be installed without grease check the fsm.
