Brake upgrade...
Hey everyone, just joined up here. I've got a 2006 G35 that's in need of new pads. I'm a big advocate of swapping pads and rotors at the same time. I'm looking for a good upgrade and so far the best (based on rotors, pads, and price) is the PowerStop 1-click brake kit. Before committing I wanted to see if this what the general consensus was. Defineatly open to suggestions if there's a better set to go with. Thanks ahead and nice to meet y'all.

Welcome to G35 DRIVER from sunny SoCal! Brakes are as important as quality tires, you can buy OE parts and you'd be fine. If your wish is to upgrade here's my suggestion, check our MARKETPLACE under vendor brakes. I'm using DBA rotors because of their quality, but it doesn't hurt they look great too! For a long time now I've used nothing but HAWK HPS pads, double the life of OE pads and near zero dust. If you choose HAWK pads SEARCH the HAWK bed in process. This 10 minute driving process will give you 30% better braking. What you're doing is heating up the new pads so some of it ends up on the surface of your new rotors. Enjoy the new ride Brett!

Like gary said, DBA rotors do look good under the wheels, and their quality and durability is great! The Hawk HPS pads are a good pad with low dust, but can sometimes have a lack in bite. I usually recommend the stoptech pads, especially after I put them on my cousins 350Z.
