tanabe pro5 coilover question

Before buying the tanabe coilovers i did some research and read reviews saying that the ride is more comfortable than stock. So I upgraded my suspension with tanabe pro5 coilovers. I didnt lower the height but I changed the dampening to full soft. The ride is more harsh than stock. Anyone else with Pro5s have this problem? Could it be something else besides the coilovers? Any help is appreciated

Hmmm I also run the Pro5's. When I ran them at full soft, I would say they were as comfortable as stock but a little bouncy. currently I run them at 4 clicks from soft up front and 2 clicks from soft out back and the ride is a little firmer than stock but much better IMO. Car handles very tightly and bumps are not an issue as with some of the budget coilovers. I wouldn't call it harsh at all and have had a few people in my car that have commented at how comfortable the ride is compared to their coils (Stance, BC, and Tein).

Could be a number of things including the bushings on the compression rods and lower control arms.
