can you replace brake pads & leave the rotors?
Hi. I have a 2005 g35 sedan 6mt with 38k miles on it. time for new brake pads. Can you put new pads on and leave the rotors, or must you also replace the rotors?
thanks

Here's my opinion:
If your brakes don't pulse, and the rotors are not scored, just replace the pads. Use a high quality pad.
In practice, I usually wind up only replacing rear pads all time, but front brakes usually go rotors and pads since I always seems to get pulsation in most cars.
If you are not sure, just get new rotors. You can get quality blanks for a decent price.
