Exclamation Urgent, please help!!

Installed meagan coils for about a month now, and lately there has been this clunking noise coming from around the rear coils. Took it to a shop to check the coils and everything is firmly in place and torqued. The noise has gotten louder as the days progress. Thanks in advance!

Remove the shock that is making the noise and tighten down the nut that holds the top hat. It usually squeaks when it is coming loose and starts to clunk when there is free play. hope this helps.

Guess you need to find a new shop! Since your G was on the rack looking for anything lose, a good shop wouldn't have missed the shock being lose.

their suspension guy wasnt there that day and the way the sedans are made, the coils dont go through into the trunk. In order to have seen that bolt, youd have to take the coils off which we were trying to avoid because of my time restraints. Told the suspension guy what was wrong the next day and he knew exactly what it was.
