Post Your Spring/Coilover + Alignment setup

Post your lowering spring or coilover setup and the alignment suspension parts you paired with them (if applicable).

Include brand names, prices (not shipped), and if you have springs, the amount of drop. Looking to compare setups and prices. Example of the setup Im thinking about getting:

Tein S-tech $172 F: -1.2, R: -0.9
Kinetix Front Camber arms $245
SPC Toe bolts $25

Also if desired include the shocks/struts paired with springs. PLEASE include any blown shocks, wheel rubbing, or any other problems you had so we can avoid certain brands.

Stock shocks/Eibach Pro-kit (bought used for $80)
pretty sure I got the Z kit cuz im dropped 1.6 in front and 1.1 in the rear
SPC front and rear camber kit/toe bolts (~$550 shipped if i remember correctly)

Added the SPC spacer kit in the front and it screwed with my ABS so bad I had to take them out.

That's a fairly reasonable price for the drop. Nice piecing.

Why are these camber kits so expensive? They are a hunk of metal that's adjustable.

Now thinking about D2 springs- $130, -1.25"
And I think were all a little baffled with the price of camber arms

Nothing to be baffled about. The reason that the SPC and SPL kits are popular even though they are more expensive than the rest is that they give actual positive camber adjustment up front. None of the cheaper brands do even though they claim they do so those of us that are dropped significantly need the more expensive kits to correct the large camber difference. I'm dropped 3" on an 05 sedan and am in factory spec with my alignment on all 4 corners.

I'm running Tanabe Pro5 coils, SPL front a-arms, Stillen rear camber arms, and SPC toe bolts.

OEM revised 350Z springs and shocks. F: .75" R: .75" (with perch mod) Price: free after selling the matching 06 Sport parts
SPC Front and Rear camber arms (not using toe bolts in rear, got good adjustment with just the arms on a mild drop)
Fronts were purchased from vendor around $300. Rears were a "new, never installed" local deal.

Here I am on swift springs with rear spring mount mod. 1"/1.1" with spc rear camber and toe kit. Front camber arms will come depending how the front tires wear. 20mm H&R spacers on the rear, 15mm to come for the front.

You say cheaper brands don't, how bout kinetix front arms? This is from the product description on their website:

These arms will allow 1.5 degrees of positive camber, and 1.5 degrees of negative camber from the factory settings. So if your car is lowered 1.5" and the front camber is sitting at 2 degrees negative camber, these arms will allow you to bring them back out to .5 degrees negative camber.

This is what I'm looking at buying. From eBay

Brand New

Kinetix Racing

Front Upper A-Arms w/ Camber Adjustment

Applications: Please see compatibility link above.

2003-2006 350Z / G35 (All Trims and Models)

2007 G35 Coupe only (All Trims and Models)

2003-2008 FX35 (All Trims and Models)

Complete upper control arm replacement allowing positive and negative camber adjustment of the front wheels. These arms will allow you to either add positive camber to your wheels (EXTEND tire life) or to add negative camber (increase handling). OUR ARMS OFFER THE MOST POSITIVE ADJUST-ABILITY OF ANY ARM ON THE MARKET (longer tire life!) The front suspension from the factory allows zero camber adjust-ability which can become a problem especially when lowering your car. Race enthusiasts also wish to add more negative camber to increase their handling without having to "slam" their car to achieve the desired camber.

These arms are completely TIG welded and offer a huge upgrade in strength over the factory arms. They use ENERGY SUSPENSION polyurethane bushings for increased responsiveness over the factory rubber bushings. They also use a high quality 3-piece Heim ball joint protected by a polyurethane red dust boot. These Heim joints offer the best in suspension responsiveness and smooth operation. These Heim joints are also highly serviceable and do not require any special tools to remove. The have Teflon coatings inside for "chatter" free operation for years. We have also included grease fittings for even easier serviceability.
