My car is a 2003, and I have replaced most of the suspension now. The last thing I replaced were the front sway bar bushings. That cleared up most of the noises, but now I have a new one. It's not a rattle or a bunk-ka-bunka sound. It's no clank or crack sound.
This car make a single thump when I back out of a parking place. It's a big thump! It seems to occure whele I shift into fwd from reverse. It also seems to be inside the trany tunnel. I have looked at everything under teh car, and it seems to be tight. Any ideas guys?

I also get a chunk some times when entering a driveway at an angle, but not always.

I have not looked at that end of the car!
I did manage to tighen up the passingers side tension bar mount last night.
Maybe that will help. I should find out when I leave work today. I typically get the tump when I back out and turn. Next up will be the magnetic mounted action cam.
