Tie Rod Bushing has Grease on it

I heard a screaching/rubbing noise when I turn right this morning so I looked around the wheels when I got home. I did not notice anything loose but I did see grease on the bottom of the tie rod busing on the passenger side. The car has less than 65k on it and it does not seem like this would be something I need to replace this early. All of the articles I read on tie rod/ball joint/bushing replacement here are about older cars with a lot more miles.

I was in a front end accident that had me replace the bumper and headlight. I was wondering if this accident could have something to do with the grease leaking. Is this even what is causing the noise? I also very occasionally hear a knock when going over a hard bump.

Maybe the ball joint on the spindle or compression rod is torn?

Yeah, I assume its the ball joint or just a torn bushing but I am wondering whether or not it broke/tore because of the accident. The other side is grease free. It does not seem like this is something that would go out this early from wear and ... tear ...

I think I could replace it myself but if I can get it for free. Accident was in the fall around oct.
