Dumb Brakeline Question

I'm in the process of upgrading my calipers. I have an 03 sedan and will be using 05 calipers. When I order the lines do I order them based on the year of the car or the year of the calipers? I didnt know if there was a difference from year to year. Sorry if it is a stupid question.

I'm fairly certain the lines are identical.

I would order ones for the caliper year as there may be fitment variables for mounting the new line to the new caliper. The line going to the rest of the brake line system should be the same no matter what.

But as what was said above, i Believe they are the same. Thats just what I would do to be safe.
