I'm looking to get Stance Super Sport true-style coilovers soon since these fit my budget.
My goal is to have slightly stiffer suspension than the stock 6mt sport suspension with maybe 1-inch drop at the most.

What would be a good springrate combo to have?

I have BC Racing BR Types.

I believe they 8K Front 6K Rear. Very comfortable ride for coilovers. I have a 1.5 Drop All around and set the Dampening to +6 front Soft. Very Compliant ride quality with stiffness. When I set them to full hard, they did superb in handling but rode like they were on rails.

Are yours true type coilovers or oem?

Stance Super Sport comes with 12kg/8kg spring rates.. Plenty stiff for a DD. You'll be fine with what they come with.

I was thinking of going with 10k/6k. I don't want too stiff, just slightly stiffer. I'm not planning on lowering the car much. Thoughts?

You will be fine with the rates they come with, I had mine with the dampening at full stiff and they were fine.. Just run the dampening all the way down if you dont like the ride..

12k/8k is fine. You can adjust the dampening if you want.

I'm thinking to go 14/10 on Swifts. My Fortune Autos with 10/8 are way too soft all around and the car basically feels like oem, no improvement. Far worse then my previous tokico/350z spring set up that was nice and tight.

I just received 12k Swifts and am going to move my front 10ks to the back to replace the 8ks and then put the 12k up front and see how this does. According to Fortune you can only go about +/-2kg for the valuing of the shockmthey were made for. I’ll report back once I have some data. If this doesn’t work, I will probably go 14/12and get the coilovers revalved or swap in the 510s and sell these.

I’m really glad that I didn’t get the Hipermax coilovers bc they are 8/8k. After my experience with 10/8, 8/8 seems crazy low...and I’m guesinng it would have been much harder for me to replace springs on the Hipermax?? Fortune is easy to work with and they have all of the different spring rates etc available for quick swap.

In hindsight, I was stupid for not getting their 510 coilovers with dampening and rebound adjust. The dampening adjust goes a long way to work with the spring rate to give you the correct feel you are looking for. Stupid of me... Let’s hope stiffening up the springs gets me a tighter ride. They did mention that Swift’s tend to feel slightly less stiff than their standard springs, so, keeping my fingers crossed.

Coupe with 17" or 18" stock is 314 / 342
Later coupe with 19" stock is 314 / 427
Nismo S-Tune Suspension is 448 / 504 and I personally think it feels perfect. It's firm but not uncomfortable, still makes for a great daily driver. Has a slight set going into a corner then it just doesn't move anymore, very controlled feel.
