Lowering a sedan 1"

New to this forum.
I want to know how I can lower the car about 1" .
Are there any bolts for lowering??
On my C5 I can just adjust height with turning some bolts.
I am shopping for some 18 Rims and I want it lowered .

Thanks for you replies

Mike

Sorry you can't lower a stock G35 (or 350Z) that easily, would nice to some, but you can't. Either purchase lowering springs, which really should not be run with stock struts or invest in full bodied coilovers, like Tein, HKS or Cusco. And if you mind should drift to Eibach springs, keep in mind that Eibach chose to run higher rear spring rates, which is a tuning method to increase oversteer, something the sedan doesn't need a stitch more of. 350Z Eibachs would be a better choice since their front to rear spring rates are pretty much equal. The catch is, 350Z springs are aledged to not mount on G35 struts, I have doubts about the validity of that fact. If you can wait til fall, Koni Sports will be out to run with any lowering spring.

To answer the question... Eibach G35 Sedan springs will lower it 1.1"

Gsedan35, there's a few coupe owners w/ 350Z springs and I'll be buying a set tomorrow as well. Do they allegedly not fit sedans? what have you heard?

Keep in mind that unless you upgrade to the Z's struts as well, you'll have a underdampned car on your hands. You will have some bounce and control issues on less than smooth pavement. Also, springs off a Z produced prior to 11/02 have higher spring rates that are know to cause Z owners grief. I have a set a Z springs (12/02 production), but with so many Z owners complaining, I'm waiting for the Koni Sports to come out this fall, then I'll mount them.

Here's the post where I'm told that the 350Z springs and struts are different and that you can't mount the Z springs on G35 struts. Z33 is code for the 350Z right, cause if it's not, well that's how I assumed he was refering to the 350Z as the Z33.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...=&fpart=1&vc=1 Look at the second to the the last post from crea. But like I said, I have reason to doubt the info on the whole.

Should have been more clear....

I'm buying the Eibach 350Z kit which several people have as well. Not the stock Z springs.
