Anyone replaced shock/strut mounts?

I have a 2005 g35x sedan and I'm wondering if replacing shock/strut mounts will make a noticeable difference in ride quality specially feeling harshness going over bumps etc..i replaced all four shocks two years ago and for some silly reason didn't replace the mounts. Pls share ur experiences so I know it's worth the few hundred bucks it will cost me. Thanks

Replacing mounts (tophats) will not make a difference in ride quality. perceived "quality" in your suspension boils down to how well the dampers react to bumps. If your ride is rough, that means your dampers aren't doing their job at dampening bumps in the road, if you have adjustable dampers then you need to soften them up.
