I haven't really heard of people having issues with non-OEM wheel bearings, That's typically one of the items that is hard for a manufacturer to actually screw up, if the ones on rock auto are reasonably priced I'd just get one of them.

I went OEM simply because I got a screaming deal on the part after they tracked tranny gear oil into the cabin of my vehicle because the tech got some on his boots...

Timken bearing was the same price as the aftermarket equivalent, as I know you have access to a press.

Did you bend your hub from being too low?

Huh wise, just get a high mileage replacement from a junker and swap in a new bearing.

It would be less time to not have to deal with one after you've pulled the hub, buy used they are made of aluminum yes?
