Brembo Rebuild
Hey there,
I have been rebuilding a set of 04' oem brembos. New seals, bleeders, and refinishing. I was wondering if anyone knows or knows how to find the torque specs on the 4 bolts that hold the calipers together. I was reading through the 04 FSM and it does mention different torque values for holding the caliper to the vehicle, but it doesn't detail the breakdown torque specs for the brembos. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

You're talking about those 4 torx head bolts that hold the two halves of the caliper together right?
I don't think I've ever seen a spec on those bolts, ever. If I had to guess it's probably like 15-20 ft lbs or so, they're pretty small diameter. M8 maybe?
Find out the exact thread size/pitch of the bolt, then you can just cross reference the spec for the fastener, if I had to just guess I'd say probably the grade 8.8 column because Brembo certainly wouldn't be using a weak fastener for those.
EDIT: You should just google search something like "brembo caliper bridge bolt torque spec" and see if you can find anything.
