I'm just curious on how low your car is? I've seen some G35's with perfect stance that the wheels and fenders are literally touching. Do your tires rub when you go over small bumps? I don't even want to ask about speed bumps lol. Mine is lowered and if I go any lower, I'll be scraping big time. I am running 25mm in the front and 38mm in the rear. How do you get that perfect stance?
Im embarrassed to post my car right now cause its disgustingly dirty drove home for an hour and a rain storm last night. 20x9 front 20x10.5 rear Ive been driving it this low for 6 years.
The rear no rubbing at all. The fronts only kiss the inner fender on really big bumps. I have to watch pulling into raised parking with the wheels turned too sharp or it will rub the inside of the fender lip a little. But thats only if the front wheels are on uneven ground.
Ok. Your overall tire height is over an inch shorter on the front and 1 in the rear.than mine 20s help fill the wheel well better making the car appear lower than it is. Your underbelly is probably closer to the ground than mine. Both cars have the same wheelbase.
I wouldnt go wider. You will lose your stretch causing clearance issues. If you went 225-45 front and 255-40 rear that would get you to the same circumference as Im at. I dont know if the coupe has larger wheel openings than the sedan though. They dont appear to be, but that could be another factor. You can Google a tire size calculator. You can compare sizes that way.
