i am doing my research. like i said I found drilled and slotted rotors for $166.00 each from brakewarehouse.net. i'll probably have zcar garage install it for me. there is no blame except that brembo should cover the brembo's under wear and tear and I can see why infniiti dumped this program.
it's nice to have the name but from now on..upgraded after-market parts.

Why should brembo cover them under wear and tear? It's only out of courtesy that the non-brembo brakes are being replaced under warranty, but that is only before you hit 30k. Brakes are brakes. Unless you experienced premature failure, which doesn't seem to the be the case, then brembos should be replaced for free. Do the STi owners get their brakes replaced under warranty? Infiniti did not drop the brembos because of this, considering how the same exact braking system is still being used on the 350z. It has to do with owners complaining about high-performance brakes and service centers not knowing the ins and outs of these brakes.

when it comese to 'safety' like installing brakes, i'm not going to risk doing it myself.
anyone here in the bay area care to help me with the install when i get them?
