I guess a better statement might be I'd be willing to look into buying something like this if it was a reasonable $$ premium over stock rotors and they stopped better.
Well there is no doubt in my mind the car will stop better, but the bigger issue here is increasing the aesthic value of the brakes when using 19/20" wheels. You'd be surprised to know how much the rotors cost by themselves, without anything else added into the package.

wow, 6.5lbs is a lot of weight that's being shed. I guess the center piece is where most of the weight is being shed too. has the thickness of the rotor shrank too?

Doesn't look right to me. If I get this, I'm definitely upgrading the caliper as well.

The thickness of the rotor has gone up about 5mm, which is just enough to need some large vice grips to press the brake pads in slightly. Just use a couple of towels to protect the paint on the caliper and clamp down, easy as pie.

Don't waste your money on this rotor upgrade if you aren't satisfied with the look of the stock brembo caliper. It would take a ton of customization to fit a different caliper to these rotors (basically the whole process over again).

Look like Fedex tried to deliver yesterday which means I should have everything today. Too bad I have no wheels that fit over these right now.. anyone want to loan me their stock 19s?

New brackets are in, they fit perfectly.. Cannot drive the car yet because I only have 1 20" wheel and my valve stems hit the brake caliper. Will keep everyone posted.

Finally installed and driving.. more info soon on kit availability. If there are 20+ serious buyers interested in this, there could be some very aggressive pricing.

BUMP from the dead!

Did anything ever come of this? Has anyone purchased the setup besides turbomaxima?

The one off set will be available for sale once I part my car out in next few weeks. The rotors will have about 200 miles on them, if that, and will come with new pads for the front, slotted/drilled 13" rotors to match the rear as well as new pads for the rear.

Too much work and not enough interest to worry about trying to sell these..
