Tried the backup method, nothing changed. I will be bringing it in and seeing if the dealer can put some anti-squeal compound.

ugh sorry to hear that one thing i forgot /me smack head

was to use the emergency brake... my rears were squeaking (sounded like the rotor was warped) and by doing this i've yet to have the squeak re-occur.

Thats exactly what happend with me. They replaced my front pads and rotors. Im driving home and the brakes are still squeaky when I come to a complete stop. They get even louder on long drives when the brakes heat up. By the way i got an 04 coupe.

LOL Who said anything about wanting "luxury"? What are you basing your "there is nothing wrong" comment on? When brakes wear out at 5000 miles on a street car, there IS something wrong. Brake issues have been a common issue to many Nissan cars- not just the high performance ones. And as someone else mentioned, the brakes are the same on the Coupe and the Sedan which BTW one is no more "luxurious" than the other.

yup they still squeak after brand new pads and rotors. Its just embarrassing coming to a stop sign or light and having your brakes squeak. I dont know what i will do now. I think i will call up my dealer and tell them about it....cuz i mean the brakes shouldnt be squeaking after brand new rotors or pads.

Are you sure the sound is coming from your brakes? Do you get any squeaking under acceleration? I'm getting my left rear wheel bearing replaced as we speak. Thought the noise was coming from my rear brakes, but after everything checked out, I jacked up the car and gave the wheel a tug and found a wobble.
