Its not too hard to do but I recommend putting the car on a lift, it can be a pain to put themon if you are only jacking the car and using jack stands. I got the Stillen sways, with the welded collars and adjusability they seem to be the best along with cost.Originally Posted by Sumlime311
is it easy to install swaybars or is it something a pro should do?

might want to also consider the Progress Tech sways. 22mm rear and 33mm front. rear has tabs welded on to eliminate lateral movement, and they are BOTH adjustable. high quality craftsmanship and we have an incredible sale going on in vendor classifieds right now for them.. blows stillen and nismo prices away.
PM me with any questions.

Got adjustable Stillens a month ago and couldn't be happier. They make a big difference. The adjustability is key - you can feel significant impact between different F/R firmness settings.
FYI, I got Prothane bushings for mine as well.

How about Tanabe? No adjustments..no fiddling. Tanabe claimes they have swaybars tuned to the 350Z's chassis. Although I believe in complete suspension tuning, sometimes I just want less things to fiddle with. Tuning coilovers are already a big mess. And if you one of those JDM gurus, this is one of those things. It's like those Ronco Rotisserie ovens..."set it and forget it"

Fixed sway bar's have no place, period. We can buy into Nismo's or Tanabe's rational only because we don't know any better or because we don't care. This goes to the core of the purpose of what a sway bar is ment to do. Just because you don't want to do what's right, which it is not. It is the "I settled choice, vs what makes the car the best that it can be.
