my offsets are +16 front, +26 rear, no rolling, no rubbing.
245/35/19 and 275/35/19 RE040 PP's.

really depends on your offset if you need to get the rear rolled
or not. the car has a lot of neg camber as the sus compresses
so you may/may not need to roll.

if you run 265/35's in the front, a few things could happen.
1. you might rub the fender liner when you make a hard left/right turn.
2. you might experience more tramlining.
3. you might loose the nimble feel more.
4. you can possibly gain more grip (given the quality of the tires) and have
more turnability (less understeer).
5. you will weigh down the car alittle more.

I feel like just leaving it all alone because I like the handling of the vehicle as it sits right now... its just I have to be so careful while parallel parking b/c there's no room for error even a slight mm or two on the fronts with my 255/35/19 GSCs... The rim seems to hang out further than the rim and thus, the "rim protector" on the tire serves no purpose

Ken, Do you have a side photo of your front wheel to see how those tires sit on your 9" wides for comparison?

Thanks again!

yeh, that's one thing about running aftermarket wheels... you get super
sensitive. try turning down your passenger side mirror downward
a little so you can see where the curb is.

im not sure if this pict answers your question or not, but here's a closeup
of the fronts. the wheels on the floor are 15's for my Honda FitS.

Hmmm... better, but I was hoping for a shot straight down to see how much of your lip hangs out... (we're still talking rims here!)

I know what you mean about using side mirrors, but as a daily driver its not the bad parking job, well I guess you can say its still me potentially doing it... but its the in a hurry at lunch time or haulin' *** back to meet a client and you have so much on your mind and traffic is driving you nuts that you get careless and forgot you're driving your baby and that one moment you're not giving much thought and bam... new street new curb, different angles

How do you like your Honda Fit?
I love your wheels on your G35! Same ones I was thinking about getting for my M3 on Tire Rack! The definitely look better on a car that I recognize!!!

yah, the rim protector is there, but not much... you can see in the pict
on the car is 19x9, on the floor is 19x8.5 fronts.

the FitSport is awesome for wat it is. the shifter is pure honda
smoothness, running EnduraTech coilovers on it. riding -1.8" and still
smooth as butter. i bought the FitS cause i can't really motor my G
in the winter time and wanted something cheap, fun, and MT. and
new for that matter since i dont have time to be messing with
breakdowns. it's a all rounder fun car. pretty quick too.

here's a pict in comparison

so you have 8.5 and 9" set of wheels for your fronts...

I was interested in Honda Fit when my local tuner had one last year with a proto type Greddy Turbo Kit... they were R&D-ing.

They were saying over 25 MPG still with the turbo and I was thinking fun with practicality... but never followed up on it... do you know if there are turbo kits out yet for it... and how expensive/reliable they are... etc...

What did you pay for your car? MPG? etc... I've been thinking about getting rid of my Maxima for a small four banger with my two G35s... M3 will be gone by end of the year.

i use to have 2 sets of SSR GT3's. i sold the set with 8.5" front's last
year locally as it was just money stacked up in my garage and had to
make more room for other wheels i had coming for my other cars.

im not really into FI on my FitSport but i know there's quite a bit of
literature over at fitfreak.net. mine was like $16k, getting anywhere
from 36-38mpg on regular gas. really depends on how i drive it cause
the i-vtec map is very aggressive from the factory. probably explains
why the car does not feel slow even with a little 109hp engine. you'll
be happy with the FitSports, i think. it's been great and fun.
and hauls a lot of stuff in the back. was able to haul those 15's with
tires (4pcs) you see in the above picts with the rear seats upright!

changed settings again as my car seemed to want to take a corner
tighter and tighter during mid-turn. had to be careful how i applied
the throttle as the rear was hinting that it wanted to slide out.

<front>
was: +16mm offset 19x9 245/35/19
to: +26mm offset 19x9 245/35/19.

<rear> no change +26mm offset 19x10 275/35/19

much more neutral now.

...and last night went ahead and stiffened up the D-Specs another 1.5 turns.

Front: 1.5 turns from full stiff.
Rear: 2.5 turns from full stiff.

still comfy but much tighter and responsive (duh) than before. i think
i like this setup. with the ARC front stb it was kinda tuff to get the
D-Spec's protective metal caps off especially on the driver side, but
used both hands and spun it like a monkey driving a donky bus.

also used my regular 3mm allen key wrench to turn the dial cause the
D-Spec tool would not fit under the stb. had barely any clearance from
the stb itself, but could turn the dial no problem using the long side of
the allen key.

will see where this setup takes me next.
