Went to West End in Gardena and Darin install my A-Arms and Toe bolt. He was able to put everything to spec the way I wanted it, for tread wear. He is a knowledgeable guy (Old School SJ) and knows how to align a car properly. He's so good that he knew I ran over a pot hold causing my caster to be off by very little.

Anyways, I told him my car shakes violently at higher speeds on average roads. I told him I had my wheels balance on a Hunter machine, but it didn't solve the problem. He went to check it out and said my two front shocks are no good. One is leaking and the other is just no good, which cause my wheel to bounce on imperfect roads.

So now I have to change my stock shocks. I was thinking of getting HKS RS Coilvers. All I want is a stable ride. Performance is really not important to me. Comfort would supercede performance. You think the RS will work for me?

Hey wats up guys. I was reading wat u guys were talking about and i believe the spring that u have is the ibach pro kit 1.1' drop in the front and 1.0' in the rear. I resently drop my g with the same springs and my front camber is reading -1.8 to -1.6 on the front. Thas with alignment done. How is ur rear tire runnin, does it look as bad as ur front. Im noticing the same problem with my car. Wat camber kit do u guys recomend in the rear.

My rear wear was good. I think it lasted about 20k miles with just Kinnetix's rear camber bars (camber at 1.6). Recently I installed SPC's toe bolt and my rear camber is at 1.2 right now.

My front's also got 20k+ miles, but I think it wore down like it did due to my wheel hop I have due to stock shocks leaking and being bad.

Dude i was thinking of gettin the cuscos but paying 389 for +.5 adjustment. i dunno not worth the price. i rather pay little more and get my front at least close to specs. I just ordered the spc camber in the rear but i cant decide to wat to get for my front arm??

Sup.. The 350evo arms fit well in my car. It has a wide range of adjustment. As for any sound, in the beginning I heard a click noise only when I torqued my steering wheel to make u-turns (the first day I got them installed) . It would click once, but that sound has gone away. I hear no sound whatsoever now. I paid full price on 350evo.com and have no regrets. Don't forget to get some spc toe bolts too.

Just a word of warning passed on to me by a suspension tech who specializes in Nissan and other imports---
Once you go to an aftermarket camber kit, chances are that you will have to check at least 1-2 times per year to make sure that everything is still in spec. They have found many shifted bolts due to slotting of the holes where the kits attach.

As a note: I cannot confirm his comments as I have yet to install a camber kit.

Anyone else with some long term experience???

What about Stillen A-arms?

All,
Great info on the a-arms, i was actually looking at purchasing the cusco ones, but since they will not get me back to factory specs, it's not worth it in the long run. No one here mentioned the Stillen A-arms though. How do they compare to the 350evo a-arms, they are in the same price range about $50 difference i think. Any input would greatly help since i am looking at making the purchase soon. Just put on a set of brand new BFGoodrich KDW2's on my ride and would hate to see those wear out prematurely.

I can't compare the stillen arms, but I don't think you will be disappointed with the 350evo arms.

i think i read somewhere that the stillens also only go positive by 0.25
or something like the cusco's...not enough for those that prefer
stock alignment setting on their lowered cars.

usually performance oriented people buy a-arms to increase
neg camber whereas you guys buy them to lessen neg camber...

Actually on those cusco's and stillens, you can just flip them
over when you install them and get more positive camber.
(you can't, im kidding, don't try it)
