Changing brake pads
Changing brake pads
I am going to aftermarket brake pads. Is there any reason I cannot just change the fronts? Do I need to do all 4 at the same time? I tried searching, but could not think of the proper search term for this.....
Thanks for your help!

IMO...
If you are planning to get better front brakes, you don't neccesarily have to change the rears at time of installation. However, this all depends on the condition of the OEM brake pads for all four corners.
Good luck and let us know what you decide to get and the end results.

I wondered the same thing.....and decided to do both front and rears at the same time.
I still had approx. 30%f and 50% r pad left on the stock brembos...after 24K miles of not so easy driving!
Rotors were in great shape and well within spec.
Changing the Brembo pads is a piece of cake! It took me approx an hour....and 45 min. of that was removing and replacing the wheels...
I went with the Project MU, NS pads as I have heard very good things about them.
I'll post a review in a few weeks.

It just reflects on what you want. I you feel that there is no need to change the rears...you dont have to. IMO, it's just piece of mind when you change the rear pads at the same time.
Personally, I would change them all at one time because I dont like the half *** my work.
