Exclamation HELP!! Installing Tein S-Techs on Coupe...

Does the bump stop need to be cut?

Here's the thing... the instructions list that the G35 Coupe requires a cut type A of 1.2 inches. But, I don't have the S-techs for the G35. I have the S-techs for the 350z. And under the 350z instructions, it says a cut is not required.

How low do the S-tech's drop the Z? They'll drop the G an additional .5 inch or so. I would say just cut em.

Total drop would be around .75" on the G if that. For some reason, 1.2" inches off the bump stop seems a lot. What's the worst that could happen if I leave the stops alone? I'm pretty sure I'd kill my nismo front before I'd bottom out the spring, no?

since the 350z springs are shorter, i would definitely cut the bumpstops in the front.

im running g's s-techs and i cut the front bumpstops by about 1".

car feels great.
